Character: Ryuunosuke Akutagawa (BunAru)
IC Info
Name: Boroboroton
Canon: Icchibanketsu (AU)
Personality: Boroboroton is a tsukumogami youkai, a type of Japanese demon who once was a manmade item who gained a soul; in his case, he was a futon who gained a soul and a humanoid body. He dresses up as a Komusou monk, carries a flute, and sneaks into people's homes to suck the human energy out of their futons. It's weird, but it's what he needs to do to survive. You do what you gotta do. He actually wants to be a real monk some day, but since he's got horns which visibly marks him as a demon, that's a bit of a challenge. He's a spirit who, by nature, needs to trick people, and he does so every day, because how would he otherwise get their enegry? But to be honest, he doesn't like tricking people or lying, he would rather be honest. Because he likes people, and wants to make friends with them rather than trick them. But he doesn't really know how to make friends, it's a little difficult. He's not really had any before coming to the citadel. He's friendly and calmly cheerful, yet a little shy, and a little wistful and dreamy. He'll listen to your troubles and give advice best he can. He'll also keep quiet about your secrets.
Evil spirits are trying to destroy the world, and the Individual god needs the help to fight them, to save the world. The Individual god can "create" new gods, demons, or mortals, summon them through the ripples in the world, so to speak, and by joining hands with the Generation of Gods (the Shindai) and using their blood, the Individual god can create the Generation of Ancient Times (the Oudai), and with their blood, the Generation of Grandchildren (the Soudai). It's a bit of a running joke even among the Oudai and Soudai that the people whose blood was used to create them is their parents. Boroboroton is a Soudai. He can be created by combining the blood of any Oudai, but this particular Boroboroton was created with the blood of Kutsutsura and Izanagi. It is possible to "create" them more than once, so if one of them is destroyed they can be brought back. Normally, they are brought back without any memories of the time after the previous time that they were created. In this AU, Boroboron will be able to regain his memories of the time before he was destroyed, after he is revived, though the memory takes a little while to set, so to speak. It's jumbled for a couple days, and he may associate a memory with the wrong person, or do the same with names, or things like that. It can be a bit messy, and he is concerned about it.
Sample Objectives: Give at least two sample objectives you want for your character (these can be changed later in game) with no more than 100 words explaining how this would affect your game play. (Just show you understand the objective system.)
Sample: At least ten comments from your character in a thread or 300 words of sample prose. Threads used for samples should be no more than 12 months old.
Sample Game Mechanic: Give an example of how you'll utilize one of the game's setting mechanics (i.e. the Master and Servant system, or temple raiding) while playing.
